The main inn is nestled among beautiful mature trees, while the cabins overlook a quaint irrigation canal. There are trails that lead directly from the property to the Rogue River. Early evening, complimentary snacks are served, followed by freshly baked cookies and milk - everything is prepared on site. Our room was comfortable, featuring a spacious walk-in closet and a large, high bed. I especially appreciated the quiet central AC. The staff were warm and welcoming, and offered helpful restaurant recommendations.
Hotel did not send a confirmation of our reservation, did not provide any acknowledgement of our upcoming stay and made zero effort to contact us. Lied about leaving us a phone message and then the manger refused to call us after multiple requests. Charged us twice the room rate for a stay we did not even know was accepted. Avoid these people like the plague, scammers.
It is exactly what you would expect from an old historic in in this part of the world. The cabin was kitschy, but clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, nothing too fancy.
What a lovely place! Be sure to walk the trail along the rogue river while you're there. Merek had great advice for us and was very helpful. We will definitely be back next time we come out this way!
