Richard Wear seems to have an issue actually listening to his patients. There were a few incidents - one exceptionally bad time was when he laughed in my face and told me I 'didn't know what I was talking about' when I requested a strep test & mentioned I contract strep a couple times a year. Dr Wear told me multiple times a strep test was a waste of time. The test came back positive - he mentioned it was 'surprising' and justified his initial attitude by reiterating adulthood strep is uncommon. It IS uncommon. But uncommon ... read more
Used to love this doctor. However I told him something in confidence and instead of discussing it with me, he put it in my medical records and caused me to lose my insurance.
I have been seeing this doctors office for many year. Dr Wear is a very friendly, and spends as much time needed to address any of your personal medical needs. Dr wear always goes over your entire health throughly without missing a beat. Highly recommended .
