Like another reviewer, I was a patient of Dr. McCulley as a teen and had permanent retainers bonded behind my upper and lower teeth to prevent shifting after braces. I’ve had mine for nearly 24 years and only needed one repair, so I chose the same option for my daughter when her braces were removed. Unfortunately, her permanent retainer repeatedly broke while eating normal food.
