Went in because my car’s key fob wasn’t working. Was given a price of about $25 for a new battery with lifetime warranty — sounds good to me. After the guy fixed it, he asked for my phone number, which I declined to provide. That’s my prerogative. He informed me that I wouldn’t have the lifetime warranty without providing my number and I was fine with that. He got visible upset and said it was “weird” that I didn’t want to give my number.
