I had a faultless experience with this branch of We Buy Any Car. Joe gave me a fair price, and went through the whole process clearly, and quickly. My advice for customers is to come into the appointment with realistic expectations. The price you’re quoted online assumes that your car is ‘showroom’ quality with practically no imperfections. The WBAC rep will inspect the vehicle and, if they do spot any scratches/chips etc, they’ll grade the vehicle accordingly. Got an ok quote for my car on the website. On arrival at the branch, the rep was friendly and polite to begin with, he inspected the car quickly but then gave me a quote significantly lower than online. I asked why it was lower, he said online I had entered it as “Grade 1” condition but he scored it “Grade 2”, I asked him what was wrong with the car and why isn’t it “Grade 1”, he said nothing is wrong with the car but it’s not brand new so he wouldn’t give that price. Entered my car details online and given a price of £9000, went to the shop the next day and was given a real life value of £7800-£8200 which was fine. I went back only 4 days later to be given a price of £6700!! Which of course I refused😅 I advised them that I only came earlier in the week and was offered over £1000 more which was shrugged off. I walked away and have now sold my car to Motorway for over £9500, far better service and price!
