We Are Blood Cedar Park is my go-to donation center. The process is always quick and highly organized, which I really appreciate. They are great about keeping appointments on time, and the donation area is very clean and comfortable. The people working here are experts and truly care about the donors. It's a simple, rewarding way to give back to the community.
Best place to donate blood in all of Central Texas. Volunteers are so so friendly and the staff are all auramaxxing to the extreme on the professionalism.
The people here were nice. But the no one really gave clear instructions as to where I was meant to go or what I was supposed to do. They had trouble finding my vein, which is okay. But they called over 4 different people just to absolutely obliterate my arm. Its been a week and I'm still experiencing swelling and bruising. These people make it so extremely difficult to give blood I can't imagine people jumping through all the hoops to make it happen. No wonder there is a blood shortage. I drove an hour to give blood to discover I'm permanently deferred in their system because my Doctor ordered bloodletting more than a year ago. They would not take my blood. A year ago they wouldn't take my blood because my Doctor ordered bloodletting because my hemoglobin was too high. That was the whole reason for the order.
