My mom loves it here!! She is receiving better care than living alone. She has people to eat each meal with and is never alone. She can choose to join in the daily activities or sit and read a book in her own room. The staff is friendly, caring and very well educated. The facility is extremely clean, no smell, whatsoever!! The place smells like decaying flesh, and is filled with old people just sitting around doing nothing. They are made to chant the lords prayer before meals, like a bunch of robots. It is a pathetic place filled with women who are stuck there by uncaring relatives. The praying before meals is enough to make residents want to die. It is a "last resort" type of place for people who cannot afford anything better. Do not go there if at all possible, and research the place before living there.

Has my mother in law there for the shortest time possible until an opening in a more suitable place was available. The place is designed for people sitting in a chair waiting to die. The food is mush, and the rooms are tiny and gloomy. The mandatory prayer at meals is oppressive. Caution: when you read Nancy P's review as it is quite biased and not realistic.
