I've never been more disgusted with a hospital than I am with UPMC Chautauqua. My husband passed here last month and the lack of empathy and experience is appalling! What was reffered to as "comfort care" is nothing more than a holding hell hole where they overdose you on pain meds when no pain was involved. I filed 5 complaints, 2 with the hospital and 3 with the state only to be completely ignored. I have photos of the lack of care and neglect and not one of them cared to look at them.. a joke of a hospital the give zero care to women my fiancé came in with a veryprogressed infection after a uterian rupture and all they can say is your fine there's nothing we can do to help the extreme pain your in to the point you can't walk we dont see any signs of infection everything is normal oh you can't eat or drink your fine but if your a guy you get god like treatment never ever take anyone here
The outpatient surgery department treated us so well today as my husband had a biopsy done. Every staff member was very kind and efficient. They all did their best and we had a great experience.
