I have a serious medical condition and spend a lot of time at UPMC in Erie, but was in Jamestown yesterday and had to go to the ER. I just wanted to say going in I was nervous because I haven't heard the best things about this hospital, but I just wanted to say the doctor who was there yesterday around 3 was absolutely wonderful. He was so caring and listened to everything I said and was so understanding. They helped me with my pain flare up and ran all the necessary tests to make sure my condition was not worsening. Worst hospital I've ever been to in my life. Had my disabled clients sitting for hours. He just needed test results read. We've been here since 10am. Its passed 4pm now.

Firstly, short staff in Mondays are terrible to expect anything from any doctors office. It’s understandable. But this office worker Corey was so rude. I’ve always had good experiences there, so maybe this was an off day for him to be rude to a patient. I was in the middle of explaining why I was calling about a referral that never reached another doctors office for the second time. I'll be honest. I went here looking for medical transport to a larger medical facility like Buffalo for a unique problem I was having. As much as they were willing to do so, Buffalo was not accepting transfers, so they admitted me. I was there for a couple days until they found a great solution to my problem. The nurses were amazing. I will continue to return to this lovely hospital for every and all problems I have in the future. 5/5
