I went to see Dr. Wazen for hearing loss, after my hearing test he said to me your hearing loss is not age related so what is it from in an accusatory tone to me. I was so taken aback that a doctor would talk to me in this tone about a very sensitive condition. I should’ve said to him, you tell me you’re the doctor. I loved Dr. Wazen when he was part of the Silverstein Institute. Pretty much on time, gave me the time I needed for my appt., thus the reason I continued to see him for hearing test. BUT after the fiasco yesterday, now that he is part of the First Physician Group, I will NOT return. 1:00 audiology test was on time and told, no changes in 3 years. Waited for my 2:10 appt for Dr. Wazen, got called back into the "room" and waited till 3:20 for him to come in and tell me, "no changes in 3 years." His assistant had looked up my n... read more
Was impressed by staff and Dr Wazen. The ability to call into the office is a real challenge. Not sure why this is a common problem in most offices associated with First Physician Group. I wish administrators would address this issue.
No compassion. This man was vacuuming my ear and I was screaming and crying in pain. My loved one calmly asked him to give me something and he told him to leave the room ~ then he pushed his chair back and said “I’m done with you “ and left the room. I started shaking and the nurses whom ARE Kind comforted me ~ he came back in 24 minutes later and I was forced to be nice / act like it’s ok. It’s not ok!
