Leslie Ceramics I first heard of this place because my high school's ceramics class got there clay from here. There is a lot of good stuff to work with in this store, and it's a nice place to go to. I also like how this store isn't out of the way, as it is on the way to many stores I already go to.
very useful for potters I've bought supplies for throwing pottery here. They're prices aren't as cheap as you can find someplace online, but if you factor in having to pay for shipping, Leslie's comes out ahead. Plus, you actually get to check out what you're getting. They have clay, glazes, tools, wheels, kilns, books....The workers there are very helpful, some teach at local art schools.
great people, good products The owner and employees at this establishment are very knowledgeable and friendly and as always, Leslies carries a wide variety of ceramic supplies. And there is a gallery inside as well that is sometimes, not always having shows, but when shows are up, they are usually very well worth seeing! This store is one of my favorites to blow my money at. : )
