I have known Dr. Lewis since I moved here with one dog, Maggie, a Sheltie, and one cat. At that time, he worked at Appalachian Animal Hospital here in Ellijay. We saw, over time, Dr. Lewis, Dr. Cipullo and Dr. McClendon and were impressed with all of them. They were all good veterinarians, and they had a good staff. At some point, the business was sold to VCA out of California. I would rather deal with a local business than a large conglomerate. So, we followed Dr. Lewis to Jasper. Dr. Lewis is a caring and professional doctor. His whole staff at Wayside (and Appalachian Animal Cinic in Ellijay) are professional and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis for all your pet's needs.
