I attended Waypoint and was met with kindness between the counselors, BHA’s, corporate and fellow peers. The stay was necessary and you make the best of it because you’re fighting for your life but the part of what made this place so special were the people. Especially since the fact that when you leave the gates, you aren’t on your own. Tara with the alumni group will reach out, peers will be supportive, and you will have therapeutic strength under your belt. I’m grateful for Waypoint.
I attended Waypoint for their 7-day program, and from the moment I arrived, after a 3-hour drive,I was welcomed with compassion and zero judgment. They took me in without hesitation. The staff clearly explained what to expect, when I’d see the doctor, and the protocols of the program, which helped ease a lot of my anxiety. Waypoint definitely saved my life! The staff is awesome and they got me admitted almost immediately after I reached out to them. It’s a 12 step based program but they provide tons of information about other pathways and resources for recovery. They also do an excellent job with family support, mine still attends a support group weekly. Amazing alumni program to keep you informed and connected.
