Incompetent staff lose your stuff. First, they gave my eyeglasses to another patient who wore them around for half a day before it was caught. Then, when i was discharged they never gave me back my keys, work nametag, or phone charger. They shove papers at you and tell you to sign so that when you get home and realize they never gave you back some of your things they cant be liable. They deny any accountability for mishandling your personal property. You leave more stressed out than when you came in.
I was transferred to Waypoint from Brockville Psychiatric Hospital, where I was ‘wrongfully’ there for over ten years because of a lying and incompetent Dr. Ahmed. I was in a self-defence fight where the aggressor said he was going to ‘slice me up with a knife’ and other present and future threats; he also charged at me repeatedly and assaulted me. My brother and my son has went to waypoint hosp qnd they are locked in a ward with nothing to do but walk up qnd down the hallway literally more depressing than if you qlready were admitted into waypoint with a depressive episode .. no activity except a privilege to go sit outside in among the trees with zero things to do how can that help anybody living with a mental health condition???
