I don't mind being placed on hold which is what happened my most recent contact with the Treasury Dept. Having said that, at 10 min 15 sec I think someone should have at least checked in to let me know they hadn't forgotten me. That is basic courtesy. I hung up at that point
Couldn’t agree more with the prior posts regarding the disorganization, poor empowerment and leadership, and lack of support to local businesses.
I've always had great experiences with employees here. People take for granted that you can walk in or call and be able talk to someone within seconds- other cities are not like that. They've helped me through everything with my small business from creating an LLC to equipment taxes.
Long story short, this office is completely disorganized and unapologetic and unwilling to work with the public. The office lost our paperwork for our personal property taxes and we are being fined in the form of a late fee because of their negligence. Multiple phone calls to speak with the commissioner, Sabrina von Shilling, were placed on hold for 15+ minutes with no resolution offered.
