Whatever your interest it can be found with their wide variety of current books,audiobooks,videos and resource materials. Check out their awesome informative newsletter too. Amazing resources, including DVD, music and streaming; friendly staff and a great place to study. WPL was like my second home when doing my masters in William Paterson University! Interesting music programs too!

Totally 21st century library. Meets the wants/needs of children and adults. Great selection of book clubs.
Very disappointed that for such a large town the library has very little to offer children. I am beyond disappointed that there are no evening programs for working parents. Story time and crafts should also be offered in the pm. I shouldn’t have to go to Clifton or Pompton Lake (they have evening programs). My good friend is the library director in Cliffside Park... a town that is half the size of ours and a children’s library calendar that blows Wayne away! It’s a real shame
My haven, my favorite place of all times. The staff is very friendly. They children programs are excellent! My kids enjoy spending time there amidst the books and the helpful librarians
I can't say enough about the Wayne Public Library!!!! Everyone that works there is extremely helpful and always so cheerful! I feel at home every time I am there!!��
I called the library at 4:30 to see if they had a DVD in and when they said yes I said I would be there in 10 minutes but didn't have my library card. She told me to just bring a utility bill and my drivers license. So I got there at 4:40 when they close at 5:00. She looked up my card and said it was expired and that they don't renew cards after 4:30. I'm sorry but I am a resident of this town for 14 years and pay taxes to be able to use the library during its hours. How can you deny renewing a card to me because it's 4:30 a... read more
