Only a day post op, but this doc is just awesome. My surgery was certainly not emergent, but definitely urgent. I was referred to Mercy Surgery by Mercy Urgent care, but by the time I could get them to call me back, Dr. Hudec had done my consult and performed the surgery. He has the best down to earth beside manor and personality. Dr. Hudec was going to give me an unnecessary inguinal hernia surgery. I went to get a second opinion and it turns out I never had one in the first place. The interaction I had with him was very short and felt rushed. The physical examination was very poor and I had to ask him at one point to check the other side of my groin - which, mind you, is the standard procedure during a routine physical at the doctors. I definitely recommend Dr Hudec he saved my life once and today was my 2nd procedure . I was so scared if it was any other dr I would of cancelled . He actually cares and it shows.
