We had a pretty good building experience and ended up with a beautiful home. The warranty service is horrendous. They do not honor their warranty. They forgot an air vent in our master bedroom and our hvac was poorly done. Our entire upstairs is at least 10 degrees different. It’s like we don’t have HVAC at all in the summer. Of course the HVAC sub went out of business So no recourse there. We were told by the warranty manager “we are working on a solution”. That solution never came and our warranty expired. Building with Wayne was the best thing our family could have done! They built us a beautiful, quality home that we love! Our experience with our Field Manager, Rich Flickner, was great-he was attentive and responsive to any issues that arose and ensured they were handled quickly. My parents were interested in a home with Wayne. They were looking for a home plan or two. They do not have land yet, and when we mentioned that to Shane Krinack he alsmost instantly lost Interest making it seem as my parents were a burden. He was also short with us and did not make any good effort to help my parents find their forever home. Highly disappointed. Went with competitor. Do not recommend .
All of our initial meetings with Taylor Stoner and Brittni Dolnack were great. They were very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Also, Wayne Homes has a lot of home styles and design choices, which is great. The building process went smooth for the most part, and quickly, which we liked. There were some bumps in the road during the build, which we expected, but they were always addressed by our Field Manager, Kevin McCoy. We ended up pleased with our home once finished.
