Dr. Crowder and the lovely nurses made this the best possiable 1st ER visit as a 19 year old! I went in with part of my glasses stuck in my forehead and they kept me well informed and respected my decisions. The doctor had a great mix of telling me what I needed to know and understating that I was a bit worrisome and known to pass out ( the whole reason the glasses were in my head) so he kept some things between himself and my mother, who was with me, until I needed to know about them. Best er experience i have ever had. Everyone was courteous and fast. Dr Girmann was the best
This by far was a horrible experience. I was treated well by every person on duty except the doctor, he was very dismissive of my pain and didn't even want to find answers. He told me to take aspirin and get rest. I sobbed in my vehicle after being discharged. Again the rest of the staff was surprised I was being discharged in such a short time and no answers. Wayne Hospital Emergency is failing the community.
