This was a very intimate, hands-on mushing experience. Not any of it felt commercial. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get an idea of what real authentic Alaska is like. The relationships that were built and the laughter that was had around the fire with our guides was amazing, I always love sharing and learning from other cultures and worlds! What an adventure! Linwood and Kathi provided wonderful and warm hospitality throughout our 24 hours. Jace and Sierra were amazing as our guides. And the dogs were remarkable in their enthusiasm, athleticism, and joy! We were in awe of the commitment, work, and love that permeated Wayfinder Kennel.

Linwood, Cathy and Sierra created such an amazing experience for me and my partner Luke. We were smiling from ear to ear the whole run and absolutely loved learning all about the dogs and mushing. It was so great to gain a very Alaskan experience and we really valued the opportunity to be so involved in harnessing the dogs, getting to know each one and rewarding them with treats after their run. Ours was the half-day experience. Upon arrival, we had a warm welcome by Linwood, his lovely wife, and his 2 hard-working crew members (Jace and Sierra) They ensured we had everything we needed to stay nice and warm during our excursion. We helped prep and set up the friendly dog teams for our ride. The ride itself was through a vast Alaskan terrain; it was cloudy so we unfortunately didn't get to see the mountains too much. Magical time!!! Genuine, kind souls who truly found a passion and decided to share it with the world. You will never regret time spent at Wayfinder Kennel, you will leave a brighter and better individual. Experience Alaska from locals with amazing hearts and wild stories. I myself live in Alaska and decided to take my family visiting for the holidays up to willow for a dog tour. A great decision!
