Everything on the Swedish meatballs dish was great with the exception of the meatballs itself , they were dry and lacked flavor . They were not made fresh that’s for sure , they were reheated . We are locals and like a lot of other restaurants in Mercato this one was a one and done for us . On the other hand server and service was great .
This was, without exaggeration, the worst dining experience I have ever had. The service was practically nonexistent. Our food sat on the counter for so long that it was literally cold by the time it reached the table. When it finally arrived, it looked completely unappetizing, and the first bite of pasta confirmed that the meal was going to be a disaster. The add-on chicken was even worse. Great, unique food! Fantastic service. We went TWICE in one week because we wanted to try more of their dishes, and were impressed by the first experience.
