This workout program is as hard or as easy as you want to make it. It's like a 30 minute crossfit-type session with a personal trainer. I love how everyday of a 2 year mission is planned out.
Wax strong was just the right motivation I needed to stay in a routine and effective workout habit on my mission! You get out of it what you put into it and you get to choose what that is! This program allowed me to feel healthier and be happier on my mission, and for a seasoned athlete it’s just what I would hope! 10/10 recommend!
The workouts in this book are easy to follow. The pictures and exercise explanations leave no guessing to how an exercise is supposed to be done. There is a variety of exercises to choose from and they give a total body workout.
I found that the wax strong program was very useful in the sense that it kept me physically in shape on my mission without having to use heavy equipment! I would most definitely recommend the program to any upcoming missionaries or just anyone in general who wants to get in shape and stay in shape!
As a Certified Personal Trainer, I’m impressed with the thoughtfulness and thoroughness of this program. It’s great for missionaries especially if they don’t have access to typical workout equipment. Prioritizing your health is especially important on your mission and all missionaries should use resources like this to help them along the way!
