I had my very first wax here about a year ago because I wanted to try it and see if I liked it. Michell was my girl on my first day and shes been my girl every since. I drive from Inglewood to Burbank and would have it no other way.They make you feel wonderful, safe, comfortable and relaxed. I go to the salon more than I go to the doctor and feel 10 times more comfortable at Wax Poetic.If you are new to waxing...try it here, youll never want to go anywhere else.

Had a \$55 haircut with Nicole - it was uninspired and uncreative. I had to go home and fix it has best I could. Not impressed.

Without being greeted at the front desk I told them my name, and that I had an appointment and they said that I would be taken back shortly. They offered me NO liability waiver to sign. I was finally greeted and was taken back to the treatment room by the esthetician 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. When she shook my hand to greet me our palms stuck together slightly due to the wax she still had on her hands from the client prior to me. Ive been going to Wax Poetic for waxing for a couple of years now. I had tried a few other places in the Valley before, but found them either totally overbooked & long waits for appts or just not very good. The girls here know their stuff, and Ive always been a bit on the modest side about my bikini area. They make you feel comfortable, are friendly and do excellent work all around. Terrific art gallery and neat products as well. Noelle rocks!

If you live anywhere near Burbank, you should have your brows done @ wax poetic. They do an incredible job w/out the attitude you get in so many other places in LA. Great, friendly service in a funky "loft" like atmosphere. Ask for Kerry or Meridith.
