Possibly the worst Insurance provider we have dealt with in 30 years!
The worst insurance ever. They never communicate with you. Since August 02 the day my apartment flooded, we have only received three emails from Wawanesa. It’s been a while month and we have received 0 compensation. No one ever answers the phone or emails. Some of us can’t afford to pay for everything upfront and Wawanesa does not care at all. The adjusters are unhelpful and never, I mean NEVER answer their emails. How many emails and calls do I have to make before someone actually helps us? We pay thousands to this company ... read more
I got insurance with this company from decades. Our neighbour house fire damages my back yard. They increased my insurance. I talked to broker and have all information from city fire département but did not Listen. So disappointed
DO NOT BUY HOME INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY. We had a house fire on August 6, and our insurance broker filed a claim immediately. After calling many times , we heard back on August 13. They were supposed to get back to us and communicate with the restoration company, however we have not heard a single word since August 13. It has been 2.5 weeks since our house fire and Wawanesa has not communicated with our restoration company. Absolutely ridiculous.
