Literal trash insurance company. A car drove into our house and they have spent almost a year of trying to even give us an estimate of the cost so we can move forward… we still do not have the estimate yet - it is actually ridiculous.
Our recent claim experience with Wawanesa was during a very stressful time for our family, and we are thankful that the process was started and handled professionally. We appreciated the support and understanding shown throughout the claim. What went well was knowing that our claim was being taken seriously and that help was available when we needed it. The staff we dealt with were respectful and compassionate, which meant a lot.
I have a suggestion to share. Why not have every vehicle hardwired to a device such as truck drivers are using. This will cut down on the fraud. Government would need to make it mandatory. I use Samsara in my truck. No monkey business going on here.

I have made a $1000 pre-paid repair deductible to the Wawanesa pointed restoration team for my neighbour's toilet leak in my bedroom and bathroom on Oct 23, 2024. It has been 1 and a half years already! I still haven't received my $1000 deductible payback from Wawanesa. The claims Adjuster Agnes Li, always hangs off my phone and never replies to my emails, and later she changed her email address. Please tell me how I can get my money back?
