I was insured with Wawanesa Insurance for approximately three years. During this time, my automobile insurance premium was increased repeatedly. Whenever I contacted Wawanesa to ask why my premium had increased, I was given different explanations and reasons. BEWARE!!!!!! Terrible company, they will double what they charge you on your first renewal and have 0 reasons why, told me a “young drivers” discount expired causing my policy to go from 225 a month to 450 a month, thought you’re supposed to get a better price as you get older? 0 claims, 0 tickets, and yet they still more then double the price on renewal and if you don’t cancel in time they will expect you to pay a high but out amount
0 stars! if i could. Just like other insurance companies they are horrible. ZERO support and just like to take your money for Auto insurance. I listened to them about where to take my car and it just ended up horribly. I should have went with the other guy.
I have been with Wawanesa for over 2 years and have maintained a clean driving record with no tickets or bad driving history. Despite this, instead of seeing my insurance premium decrease over time, my monthly premium has continued to increase and is now around $500 per month. I find this extremely disappointing, especially as I have been a responsible driver and have not had any negative driving incidents.
