Waves of Fun is part of the Putnam County Parks and Recreation department, this is a county (municipal) owned and operated waterpark.The only outdoor waterpark in West Virginia. Waves of Fun has a wave pool, tube ride and two waterslides. August 1-thru end of season: Monday-Saturday: 11am - 6pm & Sunday 12pm - 6pm OPEN LABOR DAY 11a-6pm Hours of operation are subject to change due to weather, mechanical issues or attendance.

Great wavepool! Waves of Fun is a great place to take the kids or hold a birthday party. The wave pool is usually pretty crowded but there are plenty of lifeguards on hand incase of an accident. The snack bar is affordable and the food is pretty good. They also have 3 water slides that are always fun.
pools Waves of Fun is an entertaining park to take children to for the day. Because it gets so crowded seems scary to have all of those kids in the water at the same time. As long as there is adult supervision should have a great time.
Fun Place For Children This is a large water park offering a swimming pool, lazy river, 2 large slides, and plenty of ways to have fun in the water. I have taken children there several times, and they never fail to have a good time. I just wish it were more conveniently located; so we could go more often. It is clean and well managed. There are plenty of lifeguards who discipline the children to prevent hazards. There is a concession stand with passable fare for the hunger that always accompanies this kind of activity.
