The Waves is located right on the beach. So the location is perfect. They have a really nice pool. The cleaning crew was wonderful. Front desk when you spoke to them in person are very nice and helpful. Now as far as the room went.. we stayed in room 108. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. The "kitchenette" really need an update. Would I stay there again? I'm not sure, maybe a different room. I did enjoy the balcony for breakfast and reading my book.
Our room was set up very well. I've never seen a setup quite like it instead of just two beds next to each other. There was a little separation so it was almost like we had our own rooms in a way which was very nice. The reason I can't give it all fives though is we thought we had a room on the beach. Lord knows we paid the price for it LOL but our room was across the street from the beach which isn't a huge deal but we felt like we were misled a little bit. They hand you a broom and dustpans and expect you to do the cleaning! I'm sorry. I'm on vacation. I'm vacationing from chores. I'm not paying $400/night to do your house chores. Get wrecked. They even had the audacity to leave a not telling me to clean and empty my trash cans and where to find new trash bags. Go pound sand. Avoid any hotel that makes you do their work while you pay them to stay. Insane.
This place is great. They are right across from the beach. My room was upstairs, 30, and it was so nice. Clean , cool and peaceful. Thanks to Lisa and Peter this place is an amazing little getaway
First of all, the hotel view of rhe ocean is beautiful and its not too far of a walk from the beach. However, the rooms are absolutely disgusting. I get this place is older, but the pillow that I slept on had blood on the back of it and im pretty sure it hadn't been cleaned before hand my siblings got the room 409 and they reported that the door wasnt working and when asked to fix it they said "oh well, we cant thats a fire hazard" when the door in my room (410) worked perfectly fine.
