We just moved to Sarasota in Aug., 2012. Our neighbor told us about Waves and we joined right away. New to boating, Waves gave us as many hands-on lessons as we needed for my wife & I to be comfortable to go out by ourselves for no additional charge as it was included in our membership. We had considered buying a boat before we found out about Waves, but we would pay considerably more money owning our boat to pay for storage, registration, insurance, maintenance, etc. as these are all included in our membership. We are new fairly new members, but the experience thus far has been outstanding!! The flexibility of multiple locations/boat types is great and the staff is wonderful to deal with. Would highly recommend joining!
I have been a member with Waves for over 2 years now and my whole family (dog included) absolutely LOVE IT! Joining Waves actually changed our lives...there is nothing my family loves more than spending the day out on the water. The best part...I don't have to pay for dockage...I don't have to pay for insurance...I don't have to pay for maintenance...and best of all...I DON"T HAVE TO CLEAN THE BOAT!
I have been a member of Waves for a year. I really like that they have four locations which gives access to bays and Gulf from Tampa Bay to Lemon Bay. You can reserve a variety of boats. The Harbor Masters are friendly and efficient. This is a very well run organization.
Waves provides very well kept boats (and a nice variey), friendly staff and fun social events. Waves also has very nice members, it is a great way to meet new friends. Highly recommended!!!
