It was a beautiful place for my nephew and his bride to get married. The weather was great, and the location and vibe for the evening was awesome. I highly recommend it.
Found outside the rural community of Victoria in Lunenburg County, VA is Waverly Estate - a wedding & event venue. Consisting of a historic home, an equally dated chapel, and a large pavilion (sans AC) for indoor dining. Plenty of parking in a nearby field and space on patios for cocktails or a small ceremony. The venue has plenty of character, but lacks nicer, updated amenities expected today. I honestly couldn’t have picked a better venue than Waverly Estate. There’s no venue like it that gives you the flexibility of coming in on Friday & staying until Sunday. We had no worries about clean up after the reception or scrambling the morning of between a hotel & the venue for getting ready. On top of all of that, the all inclusive package that Waverly has is NEXT LEVEL. I didn’t have to search for vendors because Waverly had them already available & built into my package.
