I have been a GP in Glen Waverley for over 20 years and practising over 35 years. My patients always give such great feedback about the doctors at Waverley Eye clinic, and the staff too. In particular, Dr Vivek Phakey has looked after my parents for over 20 plus years, done their cataracts, and Dr Phakey has gone that extra mile with my Mother, who had shingles then severe glaucoma in her eye. We feel indebted to him for his care, knowledge and expertise.
I've been with my elderly father twice now to see an eye specialist. Each time, we've had to wait for over an hour to see the doctor. My father tells me that it's like this every time. It feels like the appointments are not managed very well if the delay is consistently out of control. Perhaps they should not try to overbook the doctors so that patients can be assured that they are seen in a timely manner. It's exhausting ordeal so be prepared!
Wrong diagnosis for starter! Was prescribed meds for glaucoma and totally inaccurate diagnosis. Don’t go there!!
