I went to Wave with my 13 year old, 8 lb. ShitZu, Sabrina, or a red swollen eye, they took her back and came out 5 minutes later saying they had to sedate her to get a closer look at her eye. I did not want to put my 13 yr. old under sedation and also asked for a proposal of costs, another women came out to talk to be about cost. Anywehre from 1,900 - $2,200. Yesterday I had a tick emergency and I walked in Staff is absolutely the most lovely and thoughtful and caring and welcoming. I am so grateful for the beautiful ladies and their service.

I had an extremely concerning experience at WAVE this past weekend after bringing my dog in for an injured paw. First, they strongly pushed a $200+ opioid pain injection, despite the fact that my dog was not exhibiting signs of significant pain. I repeatedly said I did not want him given an opioid unnecessarily and had to advocate extremely hard for that decision. I was even told that they may not treat or clean his paw unless I agreed to the injection. I ultimately refused it, and he was completely fine and showed no signs ... read more
