I'll save my money for Wisconsin State Fair. The admission price, parking and food was just as expensive.
My boyfriend and I had such a great time this year at the fair! While we live in Milwaukee, he grew up in Waukesha, and this fair always brings us out to the suburbs for some homegrown fun. It's a great fair to enjoy with the family, play some games, ride some rides, and over eat on fried foods (see: fried Oreos). All-in-all, solid life choices.
Worst fair grounds ever! Muddy, barely any buildings, bad food and no flush toilets. No upgrades from year to year. Won't be back.
Planned and staffed by volunteers. Great variety of activities for all ages.
I just want to give a HUGE shout out to the volunteers and staff who make this fair happen every year. I have the privilege of being able to see the "behind the scenes" of the fair every year and I can tell you that without a doubt this fair would not be able to continue without them. They all sacrifice so much to be there and they do it without many people even knowing. I find so many people who still believe that this fair is put on by the county with county employees. The Waukesha County Fair is an excellent venue for friends and family to come together and have a good time. The fair offers great main stage acts, side stage shows and family friendly entertainment in the Children's Tent and Family Fun Stage. There is so much to see and do! I especially enjoy watching the eating contests! Special attractions such as the Car Show, the Pig, Duck, and Goat races, the Demo Derby and Truck Pulls as well as the 4H animals and exhibits offer great entertainment for fairgoers of all ages.
I really enjoy this fair. All events are free after you pay to get it. There are many discounts to save money. There is so much to see and do.
