I've been going to Dr.John for 6 years now. Acupuncture is the ONLY thing that took away my numbness and tingling in my hands and both arms. I am not a fan of taking prescription meds or taking time off of work...by going to Dr. John, I didn't have to do any of that...no pills, no missing work, plus my pain went away!!! Everyone who works there is great and I would highly recommend WCAM!!
John does incredible work with muscle & joint pain. My first visit, maybe 8 or 9 years ago at an earlier location, was on my brother's recommendation after I pulled a muscle in my back lifting weights. He put the needles in my back, then hooked up some electrodes to get my back "out of spasm" (as he put it). He told me that night the pain would return, then the next morning, I would feel sore but not "injured." The healers at WCAM changed my life. Before finding John, I was nearly crippled with unrelenting back pain and muscle spasms. I had exhausted all traditional medical therapies without relief. Over time, I improved and have been able to do things (like travel, some hiking, even zip-lining!) that were not possible before treatment. I still return for treatment whenever I hit a bump.
Everyone at WCAM is very friendly and helpful. I was dealing with some extreme fatigue and brain fog when I first came in for help from acupuncture. I have been coming in for more than a year now for anything that comes up. I had some severe hip and back pain, and with the combination of acupuncture and massage regularly I am back to performing at my peak for the triathlons and century bike rides I do regularly.
