I’ve been coming to this park for over 10 years, and it’s one of my favorite places to visit. I’m not sure if there is a staffing shortage or another reason for the delay, but the trail maintenance seems to be behind this year. Typically, the lower trails are cleared by now, but currently the grass is tall enough that anyone walking—not riding a bike—ends up brushing against it the entire time, which increases exposure to ticks and other bugs.
