WC built the New Horizons 55+ condominium complex in Torrance, CA, consising of 600 units spread across numerous buildings. Construction was in the mid 60s. The complex is mostly a great place to live. The serious caveat to that is the heating, which consists of heating elements in the ceiling. So, the heat purportedly radiates DOWNWARD. This is a very inefficient and expensive method, which results in electric bills in many hundreds of dollars.
