First off, I have never had a problem with the car wash in ************** and the workers have been careful and thorough. The lowered **** is because of a gas purchase made Nov. 21, 2022 at the same time I had a carwash. This is the first time this has happened to me, but a $200.00 hold was placed on my card for a $19.00 gas purchase. I believe this is most excessive, and if this is a continuing thing, at least alert the customers of that. On Thursday, May 26, I went to get my vehicle washed at the Waterway Car Wash at the ********************** location. The serviceman who took my keys and I were making small talk and joking as I arrived. We talked about a flying bug that I thought had flown in. After our conversation and still laughing and in a festive mood, I approached the cashier ***** who was helping another customer. The customer, a Caucasian male, was being checked out. The attendant drove off with my vehicle after I told him to wait a minute. My bag with my wallet, cell phone, and other valuables was still inside. I spoke with the, "manager" who rolled their eyes at me and told me sorry he must not have heard you. I sent an email to the, "general manager" and received a phone call from someone else who was not the general manager, who only had sorry to say. This Waterway does not honor the services as promised when the coupon book was bought several months ago. I shelled out 200 dollars for a coupon book with 6 coupons for "The Whole Thing" Carwash including a full service wash, carnauba hot wax, triple bond Teflon Protectant as well as "Mat Cleaning (4 Mats)" amongst some additional services. The last few times I went to get my car washed I was told the mats would not be included, and there would be an additional 6 dollar charge for mat cleaning. This complaint is for the Aurora/Bainbridge location. I was very taken back when i found out that there would be an ADDITIONAL charge to remove the floor mats and wash them. I am a Blue club member and pay top dollar for their services. When i contacted corp office, they advised me that it was at the manager's discretion at each location. I expressed how low quality the service is and what they do not do. I was told by Dan at corp. that he would credit me for 4 months and not charge my card. Which was a lie. I visited the South Kingshighway location on 1/21/21. No lines for the wash. After exiting the wash, I noticed my left wiper was gone. I pulled around and the attendant told me to wait while he went into the wash to get it. He retrieved it and attempted to put it back on but it was broken. He stood there in silence just looking at me. I took the broken wiper from him and still he said nothing. I went to get into my car and still crickets. It was odd that he had nothing to say.
