Stumbled upon this place on way home from the seacoast. Didn't even realize the were very GF focused until we sat and looked at the menu. Good food, awesome staff, and a neat place. Had been to the space when it was Popovers years ago. Go even if you don't care about gluten free. Great addition to Newmarket.
I visited Watershed last Thursday with high hopes based on the strong online reviews. Unfortunately, the polished, upscale atmosphere far exceeded the quality of the food. The burger was nearly flavorless, with a small patty lost inside an oversized, somewhat stale brioche bun. The $16 fish bites tasted like bland fish nuggets and came with an equally bland tartar sauce. The food is seasonal, creative, and delicious. Both of the evening’s specials were phenomenal, the staff was lovely, and the drinks were well crafted. We will happily return.
This is such a welcoming place! Drinks were great as well as the appetizer and entrees.Looking forward to dining there again soon.
