Have been here at least a dozen times since moving here in 2020. The food and beverages are fabulous, really some of the best in Marin. I love the space and staff have all been great. The four, not five, stars comes from sadly the overall experience being deafeningly loud inside. The music, the acoustics, the groups of both adults and kids makes the place not awesome unless you’re ok shouting while dining with others.

I was here on Sunday night with my family and had a great time and a great meal. We sat inside and enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, the service and the people. I had a great steak and my kids had the crab pasta which was amazing. I always come here when I’m in Mill Valley.

Service was good except they didn’t have any straws. We got ceviche and friend chicken sandwich. Ceviche was okay, not great. Fried chicken sandwich was the driest I’ve ever had.

Watershed is one of the few eateries (and probably the only full-service restaurant) in the Mill Valley Lumber Yard, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The setting is definitely one of its biggest draws, especially on a nice day. We ordered the fries and the pesto pizza, and unfortunately, both were very underwhelming.
