I cannot rave about Scotty enough! I have no doubt that his company is the best on Crystal River, because he and his partner went above and beyond to help me...and I wasn't even on his current tour. Scotty saw my friends and I searching the water for my phone that I had dropped while taking impossibly cute videos of a baby manatee. He told us to wait where we were, that he was going to finish his tour, have his partner bring him his snorkel gear, and he would help us search. I had an amazing experience with Wateredge! I rented kayaks from them in Crystal River and, even though it was technically out of season, I was lucky enough to see manatees up close — an unforgettable experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making the rental process smooth and stress-free. Four French people went on a kayaking trip along the Rainbow river and discovered along the way the kindness and knowledge of our guides Lena & Scotty from Water's Edge Adventures. We booked a last minute fishing trip with captain scotty over 4th of July weekend. There were 3 kids and 1 adult in our party and Scotty was awesome. He kept the kids laughing and entertained and we were constantly bringing in fish. He was very knowledgeable of the area and even gave recommendations for dinner that evening. Next time I plan to book a scalloping and fishing combo day. Highly recommend and great with kids !! “Here fishy fishy”
