I had my first ever appointment today at the Waterloo Vision Care Clinic. I am new to the area and used the sun life app to help find an Optometrist. Dr Vermeersh had a 5 star rating with over 100 reviews. From the front desk booking my appointment to the technicians conducting the initial exams and the technician training a new technician to perform field tests the staff were very professional and personable. Every appointment is quite quick, communicative and transparent. What else could you ask for!! ….I also forgot they are also VERY patient for people that are a tad difficult and squinty.
Dr. V Shoemaker was extremely cared person who did her job meticulesly well . I highly recommend her

WHAT a difference! What a fantastic difference! I just got my normal eye exam done in June of this year, and as usual, I had to fight my optician because I had to keep sending my lenses back because they were never right. A throughough exam done by Dr. Shoemaker and the technicians really got to the bottom of what was happening and why I was having trouble with one eye never focusing. Doctors are meant to listen and Dr. Shoemaker listens as well as throughly explains everything.
