Sean in the service department was amazing, friendly, helpful and very informative. I would highly recommend taking your KIA there for service. I went there directly after a bad experience at Kitchener KIA on Homer Watson. I took my SUV and just left. I drove over to Waterloo KIA, explained my situation to Sean and he couldn't have been better! He knew about the issue and gave me great advice and options. Thanks so much for all your help and information!
Beware of Sean and this dealer, charged me diagnostics for a vehicle under warranty, a known issue of 2.4GDI to burn excessive amounts of oil, at least I have the actual invoice that he writes 'burning 1 litre of oil every 1425kms' which falls under the excessive oil consumption that KIA puts down in their bulletin they put out so at least I have this as proof and evidence. He also tried to sell me a DRL bulb socket for 80$ saying it's corroded, we'll it is NOT corroded and all it needed was a replacement bulb worth a couple... read more
Horrible facility their service department. Our sportage has a tsb stating 1 quart of oil burned every 1600 is deemed accesive oil consumption. Their advisor Sean is unable to math our car burns 1 later every 1000km and has denied a factory posted warranty due to the engine issue on this said vehicle. Charged him for the oil consumption test that we were told was a service provided to ensure its not burning oil. I had my annual service booked for December 16, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. After waiting over three hours, I had to call the service department myself to get an update. I was then told that my car had not even been taken into the shop because they were still dealing with backlogged work from the previous day, and that my service would only be completed after lunch only. I purchased a Kia EV6 last spring. I absolutely love it. The sales and finance team were excellent. There was a minor nick on the console, I wasn't too concerned but at my first service appointment without my knowledge they had already ordered a replacement part to ensure all was perfect. I bought winter tires and had them installed this week. Unfortunately something with the TPMS failed. They took me in immediately - at my convenience.
