Horrible customer service. I have called and left messages and emails trying to cancel my subscription. Nobody ever answers or responds to emails. I have been trying for 2 months, and they just keep take $24.99 out of my account.
Three weeks ago I contact them about getting a specific paper from them. Lady was nice on phone and gave me couple phone numbers but when I called them( more then once) they never return my call. Even sent them a text but again NO response. Delivered papers years ago when I was kid and if you had a shortage or a problem you contact or go down to circulation department and they would help you.very disappointed!!
Tried to do the $1 for 6 months deal and it never registered I logged in. Then when I tried to cancel my subscription, the phone number says customer service is never available even though I call during business hours and I can’t ever get it to cancel online either. They’re just stealing my money at this point
I have been having the Courier home delivered for many years without problem. In the last two weeks, however, there have been five missing papers. I don't have time to go through the whole phone chain everyday to complain. I have tried to stop my subscription online, but there is no way to do that without calling the complicated customer service phoneline. I am considering going to the Courier local address in Cedar Falls to see if I can speak to a real person to end my subscription.
It seems like the customer service reps have no time for a problem. If I had to do a survey they and the paper would get a 0 for pretty much everything. They say they can't help me with an issue or they make a promise that don't materialize. I used to be pleased with the service, but it doesn't seem to go with the canned message that says that you value our business. Almost ready to discontinue my paper.
