I was devastated when he suddenly passed away just 6 mths after this pic was taken of him and I, just after he was transferred to the Nursing home in Carbonear. He was only 57 yrs old. Gone to soon!! I miss him dearly. 😔😇

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My brother was admitted here after overdosing and being on life support. And instead of taking the time to assess and try something different, they sent him home with the same medication just at a higher dose. Not only that. The doctor didn’t even see my parents and discuss his care. They pretty much sent him out the door with a prescription, no wallet, a pair of sneakers and a summer jacket, in the dead of winter. Horrible experience with this place. Was dropped off via ambulance after having some of the most severe anxiety I've ever had, including back-to-back panic and anxiety attacks that were absolutely debilitating. I was stuck in the waiting room for well over an hour, the security guard eyeing me as I struggled the entire time to breathe and calm down. Not a single nurse came to check in on me during this time. When I did get in to see a nurse, I felt as though I was being interrogated. She took my blood pressure, and was very ... read more
