So this place has a machine that blasts kidney stones with shock waves. They knock you out and blast it into sand so it just comes out naturally. The bad part, is I was on the table for all of 30 minutes, and the bill was 20 grand, not including the doctor and anesthesia guy which were a couple grand more for each. Just crazy. Just wanted to warn somebody going in for this.
My experience in ICU with the nurses Sarah and Catherine were extremely positive. The doctors on the other hand and the keystone cop resident doctors was a pathetic circus. No one is on the same page, misinformation and no urgency when dealing with a traumatic brain issue. The experience disgusted me. Never again!
