EVERYONE ON PAPERLESS BILLING CHECK YOUR BILLS!! A few months ago their electronic billing system failed and never sent out bills, causing people (like myself) to be charged late fees. I argued it and refused to pay it, so they credited me for my next bill. I asked them via email when they would send out a mass notification to all customers of incorrect late fees, and their customer service rep Joanna stopped responding to me. Please check to make sure you were not incorrectly charged late fees!!
Wisconsin Rapids residents deserve better service than what they provide
This is the most heartless company I've ever heard of. They skip over the laws protecting your electricity in the winter, to make you homeless instead by condemning your house immediately after shutting off your water because you are one month behind. It does not matter to them the amount you owe, less than $100, 1 month past due to this company will remove you from your home in freezing temps if they don't get their money. I'm so thankful for having a local municipal electric company. The receptionist I spoke to on the phone was helpful and answered my question right away. No hold at all and appreciate speaking to a person rather than a computer. I also appreciate the budget billing option and it has worked wonderfully for us not to have to wonder what our bill will be next month.
