We had late lunch at Wine and Water Friday. It was wonderful. Our table was right by the lake view. We both had the fixed price three course lunch. I had shrimp appetizer and a halibut over rice with a yummy sauce, and crme brle for dessert and Howard had rotini for an appetizer and some other Italian sounding pasta dish entree and, of course, he had crme brle too. With leaves changing color this is something I definitely want to repeat before FULL escapes.
We have been patronizing W & W for years and were always impressed. We dined there last weekend. Some of our party's food was over done. One of the desserts was tasteless. The prices have increased greatly. For such high prices ALL of our food should be excellent. I was disappointed and will not be going back until I see future reviews that reflect that excellence.
Old school restaurant with exceptional service, a great menu, and delicious food. Updated September 17, 2026: food is still excellent and portion size was quite large but the service was a little off tonight. Hopefully just a one time blip and nothing more.
