You can easily move and transport your watermaster if you’re fishing alone, along with a day’s worth of food and rods. Such a great portable option. I really love being on a river (especially one without a boat launch) and finding new spots. Reach the unreachable in a watermaster. And fyi, it’s really nice if you call them with a question and the owner actually answers the phone. Rollin old school.
Love this raft so much I actually purchased it a second time. Originally purchased a Water Master Kodiak in the mid-late 1990's and it dutifully served me until I sold it in early 2000's. I don't recall why I sold it, but it could have been that we were new parents and my fishing time was rightfully taking a backseat to parenting. I am very happy with my Water Master. The ability to row with oars and then kick with feet allows me to cover more area on lakes and hold position in the wind. When I take it to the river it works amazing. The ability to have the boat float around you while standing not only provides ease of movement, but also added security should you slip and fall. After years with a flat tubes, then more years dealing with multiple leaks with "guaranteed for life" kick boats, my wife and I finally saw the light and went with Water Master Kodiacs. No regrets. Should have spent the extra bucks and saved money in the long run. Stable, reliable, just a great boat to fish from. When I had a minor puncture (a surprise considering how thick the material is) I wanted to be sure to patch it correctly. Rich was there to answer my questions. Problem solved.
