D.R. Horton may call themselves “America’s Builder,” but for many in our community, it feels more like the American nightmare. While the homes may look nice on the surface, the issues beneath—like poor-quality retaining walls and subpar community amenities—quickly become apparent. Even though D.R. HOA is $1200 y'all. We don't have tennis courts, gyms, or any of that good stuff. Small kids park, okay dog park, two pools that are open seven months out of the year, a rentable complex, and boat launch. Consider checking out other places before buying here.
I could not be more disappointed with this company and the Management company. The amenities are insane considering you can buy down the road and have a ton of other stuff and save money. They have gone up every single year, now $1200. They have said the raise is due to many residents not paying. So those of us that do pay get to pay more every single year. Visit the neighborhood page. Nice people but the management company is a nightmare.
Mr. Steve Brown communicated well and really took care of us with our home warranty! Easy to work with!
