As a provider who has had the pleasure of knowing Tovah, I can confidently recommend her compassionate and trauma-informed services that no doubt help people to experience deep healing.
Over a decade ago, I discovered Watch Hill Therapy when I was in desperate need of a trauma-informed therapist. Tovah has been my saving grace over the years, and I cannot recommend WHT enough. There have been points when I've taken breaks from steady therapy, but she's always committed to getting me back on the calendar when I'm ready for more sessions. If you're considering therapy and need someone who specializes in trauma, you can't go wrong reaching out to Watch Hill Therapy.
Inattentive and disrespectful of potential clients' time and needs. After the initial email, it took the counselor, Matthew Seger, another five days (and a second email from me) to call me without any advance notice. Matthew Seger then wanted to start diving into personal questions without asking about my availability. Turns out our schedules didn't mesh; so I would've spent several minutes on intake only to find out we couldn't meet anyway. Wasted my time.
I highly recommend this practice! I've received training and consultation from them and have been very impressed by their knowledge, integrity, clinical competence and expertise.
