Unresponsive to requests for comps.
Made and appointment with the tax evaluator to be present when my property was to be reevaluated. He didn't show up, I called the office 40 minutes later and they said he was "at a class". An error during the previous evaluation cost me nearly $1,000 in lawyer fees. Plus some of the people deciding how much your taxes are don't even live in Watauga County. Do better.
The site is impossible to navigate and very much needs updating with big toggles and easier to pay online is all .. the people there are very kind, only the website gets those stars
