If you love terrible customer experience, Waste Management is the company for you. Consistently left my locking container open. When cancelling, they will charge you several hundred dollars for container pick-up. You're better off using Rumpke.
I switched because my trash costs kept getting raised significantly. I called their competitor and it was approx 250$ for a year with recycling vs waste management which was going to be $520+ and doesn’t include recycling. They also miss weeks because short staffing on holidays.
I've been a long time Waste Management residential customer, have never experienced a pick-up problem & have always received outstanding service from the drivers to the call center employees.
